1 1/2 pounds ham steak (1/2-inch thick)
3 Tablespoons honey mustard
2 T butter
2 medium cooking apples (Rome or Ida Red), cored and cut into thin rings

Directions:

Heat broiler. Place ham steak on broiler pan; spread with honey mustard. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat until ham is browned and bubbly.

Melt butter in large skillet until sizzling; add apples. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender (6 to 8 minutes). Serve over ham steak.
