Po-Man's Ribs and Rice

Ingredients

2 to 3 lbs. short ribs
1 can (10 1/2-oz.) condensed French onion soup
1 can (4 oz.) mushrooms
1 cup beef bouillon
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 to 1 teaspoon Tabasco pepper sauce
1/2 cup water
Hot cooked rice

Directions:

Brown short ribs in Dutch oven.

Combine remaining ingredients except rice, plus 1/2 cup water. Pour over ribs. Cover and simmer about 2-1/2 hours. Serve with hot cooked rice.
